You Can Explore The Solar System! Celebrate the International Year of Astronomy with your class. Sign up for author Anita Yasuda's solar system classroom project, "Roving Mars" for a chance to win one of five copies of her book Explore The Solar System! 25 Great Projects, Activities, & Experiments. One lucky school will even win a virtual author's visit! The contest is open to homeschool parents. One entry per family. Details: Based on the Mars rover craft in the book create your own vehicle. All entries must use at least 90% recycled materials. Be as creative as you can. Every school that sends in a photo of the craft will be entered in the contest to win an autographed copy of Explore The Solar System! 25 Great Projects, Activities, & Experiments. One lucky school will even win a virtual author's visit! To Enter: Hit the Submit Entry button and send in a jpg of your Mars rover. (One rover per class). Images must be no larger than 1 MB. Photos will be posted online along with the name of the school. Winners will be chosen at random. |
